Express General Manager Steve Lambert announced today his efforts to schedule an exhibition game against the Bulgarian Womens Ice Hockey team. Detailed plans are still being ironed out, but Lambert feels confident that this game will happen in the near future. "Playing against this national team will allow the Express to get back to playing, and raise the standards of this fine organization." When asked about how the Express match up against the Bulgarian women, Lambert stated, "Let me just say, I like our chances, on and off the rink."

While the Express have sat idle over the last year, the Bulgarian national team has been hard at work, recently playing in the European Olympic pre-qualifying tournament in Liepaja, Latvia, where they played very tough games against Italy, Croatia and Slovakia.
