Express Co-Captain Steve Lambert announced his resignation as General Manager as a result of his failed drug test which led to the cancellation of the scheduled exhibition against the Bulgarian Women\'s National Team. Lambert seemed very confident that he would pass his drug test, as he posed with his urine sample in the photo to the left. However, the test confirmed that Lambert had been using HGH. "I am deeply sorry for my choices", stated Lambert. "My only intentions were to bolster a certain part of the male body, and not to increase my performance in the sport of hockey"

As a result of this resignation, Ray Arnott was rehired as General Manager. "I look foward to rebuliding this team\'s image, and support Steve Lambert as he works his way down the road to recovery"
